Equipment and Moisture Logs (3:24min)

How RocketPlan helps you Automate Equipment and Moisture Logs

1. Accessing the Project

  • Open the RocketPlan App:

    • Launch the app on your mobile device.

  • Select the Desired Project:

    • From the project list, tap on the project you wish to manage.

2. Navigating to RocketDry

  • Open the RocketDry Folder:

    • Within the selected project, tap on the RocketDry folder.

  • Add Units, Rooms, and Common Areas:

    • If a damage assessment was previously conducted in RocketScan, existing units and rooms will be available.

    • To add additional units, rooms, or common areas, use the provided options within RocketDry.

3. Managing Equipment Logs

  • Navigate to the Equipment Tab:

    • Within RocketDry, tap on the Equipment tab.

  • Add Equipment to a Room:

    • Select the desired room.

    • Tap the Add Equipment button.

    • Choose from the list of equipment types or add custom equipment as needed.

  • Adjust Equipment Settings:

    • After adding equipment, adjust the units and duration to meet your drying requirements.

    • Repeat this process for all relevant rooms.

  • View Total Equipment:

    • Access the Total Equipment section to view a summary of all equipment assigned to the project.

4. Recording Moisture Logs

  • Navigate to the Moisture Tab:

    • Within RocketDry, tap on the Moisture tab.

  • Capture Atmospheric Readings:

    • Select the room where you want to record readings.

    • Tap the Start button.

    • Enter the relative humidity and temperature; RocketPlan will automatically calculate the Grains Per Pound (GPP) and dew point.

    • Optionally you can capture photos of the reader.

  • Log Moisture Readings:

    • Select the damaged material within the room.

    • Set the drying goal for the material.

    • Add daily moisture readings.

    • Optionally you can capture photos of the moisture meters.

    • Update moisture logs daily; once the drying goal is achieved, the reading will turn green.

5. Generating Drying Reports

  • Access the RocketPlan Web App:

    • On your computer, navigate to the RocketPlan web application.

    • Sign in using your credentials.

  • Generate a Drying Report:

    • Within the project, open the RocketReports tab.

    • Click the Generate Report button.

    • Select the Drying Report option.

    • Choose your desired parameters.

    • Download the PDF drying records for documentation and sharing purposes.

Additional Notes:

  • Data Entry Flexibility:

    • All logs are user, date, and time-stamped. If you forget to enter data in real-time or need to input legacy data, you can edit the time and date of entries.

  • Regular Updates:

    • Ensure that both the mobile and web applications are updated regularly to access the latest features and improvements.
