Messaging and Emailing via conversations

Purpose

This SOP outlines the steps to initiate a call, send an SMS, or send an email through the Conversations section in the RocketCRM mobile app.


Procedure

1. Navigating to the Conversations Section

  1. Open the RocketCRM mobile app.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, you'll find seven icons representing different sections.

  3. Tap the Conversation icon (second from the left) to enter the Conversations section.

2. Accessing a Conversation

  1. Tap on any existing conversation to open it.

3. Sending an SMS or Email

  1. In the open conversation, tap the icon at the bottom left corner to choose between SMS or Email.

    To Send an SMS:

    • Select SMS.

    • Type your message in the text box.

    • To attach a file, tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom.

    • Tap Send to deliver the message.

  2. To Send an Email:

    • Select Email.

    • Enter the subject and message content.

    • Optionally add CC recipients.

    • To attach files, tap the attachment icon.

    • Tap Send to deliver the email.

4. Making a Call

  1. In the open conversation, tap the Call icon located at the top right corner.

  2. The app will initiate a call to the contact associated with the conversation.

5. Marking a Conversation as Read/Unread

  1. Next to the Call icon at the top right, tap the Envelope icon.

  2. This will toggle the conversation status between Read and Unread.




























Notes

  • Ensure proper permissions are granted to access calling, messaging, and email features.

  • You must have an active internet connection for email functionality.

  • File attachments may be subject to size or type restrictions based on platform settings.
