Creating and Updating Opportunities in RocketCRM

Overview

This document outlines the steps for creating, updating, and managing opportunities in the RocketCRM mobile application. It also covers how to filter opportunities and manage related contact tasks within an opportunity.


1. Accessing Opportunities

  1. Open the RocketCRM mobile app.

  2. Tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top-left corner.

  3. Select "Opportunities" — the first option in the menu.


2. Creating a New Opportunity

  1. Tap the purple plus (+) button at the bottom right of the screen.

  2. Select the contact for whom you want to create the opportunity.

  3. Fill in the opportunity details:

    • Opportunity Name (Required)

    • Pipeline (Choose from available pipelines)

    • Stage (e.g., New, In Progress, Closed)

    • Status (e.g., Open, Won, Lost)

    • Value (Enter the monetary value if applicable)

    • Owner (Assign to a team member)

    • Followers (Optional – add others to follow the opportunity)

    • Fill in any additional fields as needed.

  4. Once complete, tap the Save button at the top right corner.















3. Editing an Existing Opportunity

  1. Tap on the Opportunity you wish to edit.

  2. Press the Edit button.

  3. Update any of the following as needed:

    • Pipeline

    • Stage

    • Status

    • Value

    • Owner/Follower

    • Any other relevant information

  4. Tap Save to apply the changes.













4. Changing the Stage Quickly

  1. Inside the opportunity, tap the purple double-arrow icon to quickly change the stage of the opportunity.

  2. Select the new stage from the list.











5. Filtering Opportunities

  1. Tap the Filter icon at the top right of the Opportunities screen.

  2. You can filter opportunities based on:

    • Owner

    • Followers

    • Status

    • Campaign Type

    • Last Stage Change

    • And other available criteria

  3. Apply filters as needed to view specific sets of opportunities.












6. Managing Related Contact Activities

Within each opportunity, you can manage related contact tasks directly:

Access the Linked Contact

  • Tap the opportunity, then tap on the linked contact’s name.

Add a Note

  1. Go to the Notes tab.

  2. Tap the purple plus (+) button to add a note.

Add a Task

  1. Go to the Tasks tab.

  2. Tap the purple plus (+) button.

  3. Enter:

    • Title

    • Description

    • Date & Time

    • Assignee

  4. Tap Save.

Create an Appointment

  1. Go to the Appointments tab.

  2. Tap the purple plus (+) button.

  3. Enter appointment details and save.
