Managing Contacts and Smart Lists in RocketCRM Mobile App

Accessing the Contacts Section.

1. Accessing the Contacts Section

  1. Open the RocketCRM mobile app.​

  2. At the bottom navigation bar, tap on the Contacts icon (second item from the right).

  3. You will see a list of all contacts, with the most recent contacts shown first.




2. Adding a New Contact

  1. Tap the purple plus (+) button located at the bottom right of the screen.

  2. Choose one of the two options:

    • Scan Business Card: Use your device’s camera to scan a business card. The app will extract and populate the contact details.
      ​​

    • Add Manually:​

      • Enter the following details:

        • First Name

        • Last Name

        • Phone Number

        • Email

        • Tags (add/remove)

        • Date of Birth

        • Contact Source

        • Contact Type

      • Tap the Save button at the top right corner.


3. Searching for a Contact

  1. Tap the search icon at the top right.

  2. Search by name, phone number, or email address.







4. Using Smart Lists

  1. Tap the arrow icon just below the search bar.

Select the desired Smart List to filter and view specific contacts.



5. Editing a Contact

  1. Tap on the contact you wish to edit.

  2. Press the Edit button at the top right.

  3. Make any necessary changes.

  4. Tap Save when done.


6. Contacting a Lead or Customer

  1. Find and tap on the contact.

  2. Depending on the available information, you can:

    • Tap Phone to call. You will have the option to record the call and save it.

    • Tap Text to send an SMS.

    • Tap Email to send an email.

  3. All interactions (calls, texts, emails) will be logged under the contact’s activity.


7. Adding Notes, Tasks, or Appointments

Add a Note

  1. Tap the contact.

  2. Go to the Notes tab at the top.

  3. Tap the purple plus (+) button.

  4. Enter your note and save it.

Add a Task

  1. Tap the contact.

  2. Go to the Tasks tab.

  3. Tap the purple plus (+) button.

  4. Fill in:

    • Title

    • Description

    • Date and Time

    • Assign to a team member (if applicable)

  5. Tap Save.

Create an Appointment

  1. Tap the contact.

  2. Go to the Appointments tab.

  3. Tap the purple plus (+) button.

  4. Enter the necessary information (date, time, location, etc.).
