There are three pillars to RocketCRM.

Contacts are the cornerstone of the CRM, they help you build the workflow and campaigns your business needs. Contacts can have different types, they can be leads, referral partners, vendors, or any other configuration your business needs. Contact email and phone numbers are unique so you can run campaigns. Contacts can be sync’d with Quickbooks or other accounting software to allow your business to manage contacts in one place.

Contacts are associated with Companies. This prevents people from adding the same contact business name multiple times with different spelling.

Opportunities are created from a contact when there is a new potential job. Opportunities can be managed from a job board that allows your business to track which opportunities have converted to jobs, and what the status of those jobs are. You can connect Quickbooks and other accounting software to the CRM, such that you can receive the invoice amount and status for a job.

RocketCRM Onboarding 101

Onboarding your business into RocketCRM is broken down into a few easy steps.

1.Export your existing business contacts from any system they may exist in.

2.Copy your contacts into the excel template RocketCRM provides. If you are not using a system and are currently managing these contacts in excel, you can add those to the template.

3.Upon import, RocketCRM will validate emails and phone numbers. Contacts can also be imported without a phone number or email, but you will not be able to use them for marketing purposes. You can use RocketCRM to update emails and phone numbers as your business uses the CRM.

4.If you have existing jobs, you can bulk import current jobs into RocketCRM. Alternatively, they can be created manually for jobs that the business is currently dealing with.

5.Your business should choose an employee that can become the product specialist in RocketCRM

6.Rocketplan will help your business formalize a rollout plan, tailored to current staff and workload. A rollout plan will include phone and email integration, setup for campaigns, and any other customizations.

7.Once a rollout plan is clarified, training can be done for the product staff and any other staff. Webinars and howto videos and documentation will be provided to your staff.

Contact Communication & Campaigns

Once your clients are setup in RocketCRM, you can sync your email to the CRM and track all communication with the clients. When you sync your email to the CRM, it will only track communication with contacts that already exist in the CRM.

If you have a marketing representative who drives routes to build relationships, routes containing contacts are accessible in the mobile app. Your customer rep can keep notes on clients in the mobile app as they travel the route.

Customer contact information can be used to create campaigns via email or sms. RocketCRM can be used to do customer segmentation, such that you can categorize your contacts by the type of marketing campaigns you wish to use them in.
