Step 1: Accessing RocketScan

  1. Open the RocketPlan app.

  2. Navigate to the project you want to work on.

  3. Open the RocketScan folder.


Step 2: Choosing a Project Type

  1. Upon opening RocketScan, you will be prompted to choose a project type.

  2. Each project type provides specific locations to help speed up the process.

    • Example: Selecting Multi-Unit will provide predefined location categories.


Step 3: Creating a Unit

  1. Inside the RocketScan folder, create a unit.

  2. Select the floor for the unit.

  3. Name the unit appropriately.

  4. Once the unit is created, you can start adding rooms.


Step 4: Adding Rooms

  1. Select the type of room you want to add.

  2. Assign a name to the room.

  3. Repeat for all required rooms.


Step 5: Capturing Photos

  1. When capturing a photo, choose the album to store the photo.

  2. If using a Flir One camera, toggle across to access the integrated IR camera feature.

  3. Review captured photos and delete any unwanted ones.


Step 6: Adding Notes and Descriptions

  1. Use the notes feature to add descriptions for captured photos.

  2. Ensure that notes are clear and relevant to the project.


Step 7: Completing the Process

  1. Confirm that all required photos and notes have been added.

  2. Your first project has now been successfully created with uploaded photos and notes.
